KJVElihu spake moreover, and said,
WEBMoreover Elihu answered,
YLTAnd Elihu answereth and saith: --
Job 35:2
KJVThinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
WEB“Do you think this to be your right,
YLTThis hast thou reckoned for judgment: Thou hast said -- `My righteousness [is] more than God's?'

KJVFor thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?
WEBThat you ask, ‘What advantage will it be to you?
YLTFor thou sayest, `What doth it profit Thee! What do I profit from my sin?'

KJVI will answer thee, and thy companions with thee.

YLTI return thee words, and thy friends with thee,

KJVLook unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than thou.

KJVIf thou sinnest, what doest thou against him? or if thy transgressions be multiplied, what doest thou unto him?

KJVIf thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?

KJVThy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.

KJVSurely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.

KJVAlthough thou sayest thou shalt not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust thou in him.

YLTYea, though thou sayest thou dost not behold Him, Judgment [is] before Him, and stay for Him.

KJVBut now, because it is not so, he hath visited in his anger; yet he knoweth it not in great extremity:
