Job 40:1
KJVMoreover the Lord answered Job, and said,
WEBMoreover Yahweh answered Job,
YLTAnd Jehovah doth answer Job, and saith: --
Job 40:2
KJVShall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
WEB“Shall he who argues contend with the Almighty?
YLTIs the striver with the Mighty instructed? The reprover of God, let him answer it.
Job 40:3
KJVThen Job answered the Lord, and said,
WEBThen Job answered Yahweh,
YLTAnd Job answereth Jehovah, and saith: --
Job 40:4
KJVBehold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.
WEB“Behold, I am of small account. What shall I answer you?
YLTLo, I have been vile, What do I return to Thee? My hand I have placed on my mouth.

KJVOnce have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.
WEBI have spoken once, and I will not answer;
YLTOnce I have spoken, and I answer not, And twice, and I add not.

KJVThen answered the Lord unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
WEBThen Yahweh answered Job out of the whirlwind,
YLTAnd Jehovah answereth Job out of the whirlwind, and saith: --

KJVGird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
WEB“Now brace yourself like a man.
YLTGird, I pray thee, as a man, thy loins, I ask thee, and cause thou Me to know.

KJVWilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?
WEBWill you even annul my judgment?
YLTDost thou also make void My judgment? Dost thou condemn Me, That thou mayest be righteous?

KJVHast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?
WEBOr do you have an arm like God?
YLTAnd an arm like God hast thou? And with a voice like Him dost thou thunder?

KJVCast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.

KJVLo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
