Psalm 14 declares that "the fool has said in his heart, There is no God." God looks down from heaven and finds none who do good - all have turned aside. Yet God is with the generation of the righteous, and the evildoers who devour God's people will be put to shame. The psalm ends longing for salvation to come from Zion for Israel's restoration.
