Strengthen Your Relationships Through God's Love
"Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love."
— 1 John 4:7-8
Welcome to Friday! Today we focus on the power of love and the importance of healthy relationships. God is love, and as His children, we are called to love one another with the same selfless, sacrificial love that He has shown us.
Love is not just a feeling—it is a choice and an action. 1 John 4:7-8 tells us that love comes from God and that everyone who loves has been born of God. This means that our ability to love others is directly connected to our relationship with God.
Relationships are one of the most important aspects of our lives. They shape us, challenge us, and help us grow. Whether it's family, friends, colleagues, or neighbors, every relationship is an opportunity to reflect God's love and to grow in our own character.
God's love is patient, kind, not envious, not boastful, not proud, not rude, not self-seeking, not easily angered, and keeps no record of wrongs. This is the standard we are called to live up to in our relationships. As we grow in our understanding of God's love, we become better at loving others.
