Worship & Praise
Celebrate God's Goodness and Honor Him with Your Whole Heart
"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."
— Psalm 100:1-5
Welcome to Sunday! Today we focus on worship and praise—the heart of our relationship with God. Worship is not just about singing songs or attending church services—it's about honoring God with our whole lives and celebrating His goodness, love, and faithfulness.
Psalm 100 calls us to worship the Lord with gladness and come before Him with joyful songs. This is not a command to perform, but an invitation to celebrate who God is and what He has done. True worship flows from a heart that recognizes God's goodness and responds with gratitude and praise.
Worship is about giving God the honor and glory He deserves. It's about acknowledging that He is God and we are His people. When we worship, we declare His worth and express our love and devotion to Him. Worship can take many forms—singing, praying, reading Scripture, serving others, or simply being still in His presence.
Praise is closely connected to worship. It's about expressing our gratitude and admiration for God's character and His works. When we praise God, we focus on His attributes—His love, faithfulness, mercy, power, and goodness. Praise helps us to remember who God is and to trust in His promises.
